Aqua Natural Cichlid Aragonite is a premium natural substrate specifically designed for African cichlid and snail aquariums, marine aquariums and other hard water species. Made from natural aragonite, it gradually releases calcium carbonate to help buffer pH, increase KH, and maintain stable alkaline water conditions essential for Rift Lake cichlids and other hard water fish.

Its natural appearance enhances any aquarium while providing a safe, durable substrate for digging, breeding and displaying natural behaviours.

Instructions

• Rinse thoroughly before use.
• Evenly spread across the aquarium base.
• Slowly fill the aquarium to minimise disturbance.
• Suitable for use as the primary substrate in freshwater hard water and marine aquariums.

💡 Tip: Add water over a plate or plastic bag to prevent the substrate from being disturbed during filling.

Please Note: This substrate is designed to raise and maintain alkaline water parameters and is not recommended for soft water species such as most tetras, rasboras or Caridina shrimp.
