Temple Plant (Hygrophila Corymbosa)

Temple Plants are one of the most popular and easy-to-grow plants and are coincidentally my favourite plant. This plant is recommended for beginners and experts. These plants quickly grow, with dense and long leaves stretching through the aquarium. These plants do well taken out of plant Rockwall or wool. Once fully established (I find around 6 months) they develop strong root systems and as crypts will sometimes sprout other temple plants, I have noticed that around 10% of the time this occurs a little sprout will disconnect from the plant and float around until it eventually settles in a new part of the tank to establish a new plant! These plants do well in moderate lighting but can still live in poor lighting. These plants do not require Co2.

Temple Plants do well in a temperature of 23°C-28°C

- This plant has been grown immersed, other plants are grown emersed (out of water) for quicker growth however the result of this is that the plant often dies back until new growth appears, by purchasing this your plant is used to aquatic life and can easily adapt to your new tank, causing a healthy and colourful start!
