Instructions

New Aquariums

• Sprinkle an even layer of Volcanic Ash across the base of the aquarium.

• Apply a deeper layer in areas where heavy root-feeding plants will be planted.

• Cover completely with your chosen substrate, such as aquasoil, gravel or sand, before planting.

Established Aquariums

• For replanting, create a small recess in the substrate, add Volcanic Ash, cover lightly and plant directly above.

• To remineralise the substrate, expose a small section, place Volcanic Ash beneath the substrate and cover again.
