Black Lava Rock (Scoria Black) Substrate by AquaNatural is a premium natural volcanic substrate formed from porous lava rock. Its rich black appearance creates a bold, contemporary aquascape while providing an ideal environment for healthy root development and beneficial bacteria.

Its lightweight, porous structure promotes excellent water circulation throughout the substrate, making it an ideal choice for planted aquariums, shrimp tanks and freshwater community aquariums. It can be used on its own or as a base layer beneath aquasoils and decorative gravels to improve drainage and long-term plant health.

Instructions

• Rinse thoroughly before use to remove any loose dust.

• Evenly spread across the aquarium base.

• Slowly fill the aquarium to minimise disturbance.
